No. Never. Your $25 registration is the only required payment. After that, seals are entirely optional and purchased only when you need them. We do not believe in charging you for the passage of time.

Your identity hash is derived deterministically from your verification data. As long as you can re-verify your identity, your seal is always recoverable. It is yours permanently — no server, no company, no subscription can take it away.
Yes. You start at whichever level you are comfortable with, and can add higher verification levels at any time. Each upgrade strengthens your chain of trust without replacing what came before.
